On August 8, 2024, Mr. Yasuhisa Yamamoto, Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC), along with other MMC executives—Mr. Masanao Okada, Division General Manager of the Production Engineering Division; Mr. Teruhiro Hida, General Manager of the Production Engineering Powertrain Department; and Mr. Yuichiro Kasai, Manager of the Production Planning Department—visited Asian Transmission Corporation (ATC).
During the plant tour, Mr. Yamamoto engaged with various departments, reviewing project presentations that showcased ATC’s ongoing improvement initiatives. Improvement Activity Reports were presented by Maintenance Engineering, Heat Treatment, After Heat Treatment, Before Heat Treatment, Production Control, Assembly, and Alliance Production Way Departments.
The visit left a strong impression, with ATC President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Katsuhito Noda, expressing gratitude for the team’s thorough preparation. “I am proud that they recognized our improvements through your presentations. Please convey my appreciation to your staff,” said Mr. Noda.
The day concluded with a simple yet meaningful tree-planting ceremony, symbolizing growth and collaboration, attended by ATC’s Management Committee members. This visit was a testament to ATC’s team spirit and commitment to excellence.
